SURVIVOR: written in blood

"haah", I woke up with a start, looked around and touched my throat, I can breathe- I was executed at the age of 26, my head was chopped i was breathless, how did i survive ?
as i looked around i saw my Sakhi (maid) woke up and started crying and nagging.
"madhi?" i asked puzzled, "yes, princess" she whimpered looking at me...but madhi died five years ago, how is she alive?
"what year is this?" i asked and madhi said" it is 1615 Princess"
"What?" i roared.
1615?, isn't this 1625?
was that a dream a nightmare or a past life i have failed to live properly?
what should i do? did i go back in time? was what i saw true? how could it not be-i can still remember the feeling of a sword against my neck.
"what about my parents?" i asked and madhi ran down to call them

my elder sister died of unknown reasons in her in-law's house, my father and uncle were defeated and killed in war.
i heard my younger sister was raped and called a prostitute by people of the kampilya, our own kingdom.
my youngest sister killed herself in our kingdom not wanting to be the new king's wife-actually i bet he killed her.
my husband threw me into a separate palace shielding me from knowing anything about my remaining family where i eventually died of assassination.
where did it all go wrong? why did our neighboring king attack us? why did my husband throw me away...i will find out all these secrets and safeguard my family!
i should be 16 now-i came back to 10 years ago...i don't know how much longer i will stay here or whether i will be dead after today...if this is a dream or not....the only thing i pray to god is to please give me the strength to protect my family.
