After the fallout of Darkstalker's grab for power, Pyrrhia as a whole has taken a collective sigh of relief. The nightwings have finally been able to, more or less, settle within the dense rainforests, and the icewings have gone back to upholding a strained peace treaty. This has left many of Pyrrhia's inhabitants attempting to return to their daily lives, with some searching for new meaning in them. Winter is one such soul who tries to return to the normalcy of his scavenger research. At that same time, Qibli is grappling with the events of the Darkstalker conflict and his new relationship with Moon. Leafspeaker's life is a lonely one. As a hybrid, other dragons often made fun of her, and rarely included her in anything. On top of that, her father died before she'd hatched, and her mother shortly after. And her only friend isn't who she says she is.
