"You think you can get away from me like a sneaky lil rat, Ms squirrel?" Hunter whispers leaning closer to my ears with his seductive deep voice soft and smooth as feather while holding a knife underneath my ears and scraping my skin.
"Let go of me." I said through my gritted teeth struggling to get off of his grip while his chest pressing my back and pinning me against the wall.
"Love, I've had great plans ahead for us and letting go isn't one of them." He said his hot breath fanning against my neck with the blood trickling down as I struggled to get off of his grip.......

In the gritty underworld of organized crime, Ari Robinson and Hunter Anthony Vernace, two rival mafia leaders are locked in a fierce battle for control over the city. They have been a gang of generational enemies and as Ari and hunter took over the business. The deal was sealed during the time their fathers ruled not to interfere in each other's territories. But as the time passed one of them breaks the deal once again making their gangs to clash in violent confrontation trying to solidify their power. But when a common enemy threatens their business they get obliged to join hands. As they begrudgingly work with each other to fend off the mutual threat, they find themselves drawn to each other in unexpected ways. A story of enemies becoming allies, trust being tested and love blooming in the most unlikely of places finding oasis amidst the droughted desert or will their pasts come back to haunt them? (Sorry I'm not good with writing descriptions but I hope who ever comes across this story will give it a chance.)
