In this AU, Harry didn't survive. His ghost, however, wanders around Hogwarts and he actually ages like he should've because of his unfinished business and being the chosen one. He meets Draco Malfoy, the only one able to see him because Hope and positivity was erased with Voldemorts success. They bond and Draco tells Harry about how he lives with Voldemort, what happened to his sister, how his father forced him to be a death eater etc and Harry ends up falling in love with him. Draco falls as well, but much harder and slower. Harry spends nights in Draco's dorm. He can't go through Draco, allowing them to cuddle and Harry to hear a heartbeat for the first time ever. Draco, eventually turns against Voldemort then dies in result. He searches endlessly for Harry but...he can't find the boy he loved.Tous Droits Réservés

Immediately after defeating Voldemort, Harry begins to have strange dreams, dreams that pull him once more into the realm of the newly dead. At first, the dreams are only a curious mystery, and Harry sets about putting his life back in order after the war. But when Harry dreams of Narcissa Malfoy, his life suddenly goes in a much different direction than the one he'd always imagined. This story ties up the loose ends about the Elder Wand and the Deathly Hallows. Choices of the Heart was written for the following prompt: "You are the true master of death, because the true master does not seek to run away from Death. He accepts that he must die, and understands that there are far, far worse things in the living world than dying." Note: The story contains conversations with dead people in dreams, most of these are older original characters, but there is one OC child. No actual deaths are portrayed and no canon characters die except for those who have already died in canon. I understand that death may not the easiest thing to read about for some, but I want to assure readers that I have tried to handle the concept of death in this story in the most uplifting way possible. This is not a story about loss and angst, but about finding hope and love, making choices, and trusting in the beauty and synchronicity of the universe, even if one crosses the boundaries between life and death. It also has, like almost everything I do, a generous share of silliness. There are also four hidden jokes/plays on words in the fic. ;-)

Literally, inseparable. Disaster hits. After a spell gone wrong, they discover they're bond together for the next week. Without being able to be touched, and without the ability to move further then a foot apart, Draco and Harry have to figure out how to live with each other. However, they soon discover its much easier then they thought. Harry learns he's more then welcome at the Slytherins table, and Draco doesn't seem to hate him as much as he used to. Could years of loathing actually just be childish squabbles? Did they actually just need more time to understand, and speak to each other? Was this the beginning of a new friendship, or something more then they ever could have dreamed? Heavily inspired by 'Hold My Hand'. Same sort of concept, but not the same writing or quotes.
