You were walking outside your house on a lovely summer break. The people chatted about in your neighborhood street, the birds sang melodies, the sky was clear, and some squirrels hunted for some acorns.
This summer was a going to be a busy holiday, you're parents had a lot of plans for the vacation. you all mingled about seeing some animals at the zoo or maybe go on a trip to any country, and your dreams came true. After a long ride from what seemed like a marathon, your parents unpacked the car and made some tea in the cabin, you laid on the cozy couch and (like you always did) texted your friends on your iPhone.
At evening, you gazed at the sunset admiring the golden colors of the sky until they faded into a stary blue and black sky.
suddenly, there were kids (your age) peeping out of the grass/bushes in red shirts, it was strange how they were dressed the same color but you didn't care, you gave them a friendly wave until a strange sound that sounded like technology and mechanical moans came from there bodies, they acted pretty odd for kids, suddenly they transformed into hardware robots with a cake shaped body, a dome shaped head that looked like an army tank, and a pipe for a mouth, they grabbed you by the arms one also held your mouth shut and took you into what looked like an Airship?

It was the summer of 1976 when my father left us. It was a particularly memorable summer and my mother suffered terribly. My father had left her for a younger woman and moved into her apartment which was above a flower shop where she worked. My mother struggled making ends meet and got a job as a nursing assistant at Peaceful Haven, an old folks home that still exists although it is very badly run down now. Because she could not afford a baby sitter, my mother took me to work where I sat in the lounge and watched TV and read books. On her lunch breaks she took me across the street to Faulkner Park where she made out with Fred while I wandered around eating my sandwich. But I quickly grew bored. I was 8 then, a bright young girl with an active imagination. I imagined doors in the sandbox, swings into the sky, doors to another world. And in the rooms of the old lost souls were more doors only waiting to be opened. I took those souls with me on my adventures and eased their loneliness and age with my contagious eagerness to believe anything. And then a terrible thing happened to me, so terrible I could not speak of it. I was in hospital, unable to believe anymore and my old friends came to visit me and to believe for me. I am 30 now, and as I write this and look back I wonder if I still believe. And yes, I do. Believing got me through that summer and believing got my father to come home again.Complete

Long ago, way before our time. A weary traveler left home to find new land for his family to thrive off of. Drought engulfed almost all of Elysium, called The Great Heat. The man traveled far and wide just to find a sign of life anywhere. It took him days and several hundred miles to find anything worth nourishment and care. He braved sand storms and blistering heat, his throat was dry and his feet could hardly carry him any farther. He collapsed onto the ground, his hands burning under the heat of the crackled ground. His vision blurred and mirages played with his suffering senses. His mind projected a tree into his line of vision, withering away but it's branches holding a single fruit. Besides his beliefs of it being a figment of his imagination, he crawled his way to it, bringing himself under the weak shade that it provided. He looked at the glistening purple fruit, what was it? He reached up to grab it, expecting it to fall through the image projected before him. His fingers wrapped around the fruit and he picked it from the branch. It was real! The fruit was real. He eagerly bit into the fruit and its juices trickled down his chin. He sat back and relaxed as the food nourished his body, he drank of its juices and picked out its many seeds, collecting them. He dug a deep hole until he felt moisture in the soil, planting the seeds into the ground. As it grew over time, the man used the old tree to build his home around the new one, tending to it religiously until it beared fruit. He brought his family and they lived there, planting trees and passing on the seeds for other places to spring life. Within five years the drought was over, Elysium was breathing again."Complete
