Eness, the sin of Envy. She and her sisters ruled and protected  the seceded islands of Pyrefall for years. They were the seven deadly sins. Mistresses of power; women of duty. Eness had been perfectly content with her life until a turmoil of bad news threatened to shatter it.

The emperor from the mainlands had sent a message. Instructing the sisters to come to the mainland where one of them would be picked to wed him.

Eness' fury knew no bounds as she vowed to make the emperor pay for diverging his sights to her home and her family to claim. 

Her arrival at the mainland shook the emperor after her display of dominance. She'd caught his eye. Now he would never let her go.

As the journey begins for these two foes, they soon discover hidden knowledge of their families' pasts that slowly starts to seep to the surface, causing discord in hell, and dark truths both Eness and Lucien wanted to keep hidden from each other out in the open.
