After growing up fending for herself, the only thing Y/n L/n knows about her parents is that they were evil, leaving her burdened with not only the pressure of surviving in Ninjago City's streets, but also with her inherited Oni form that lurks around her constantly, physically and mentally.

Y/n is brought to Master Wu by her own sensei after a traumatic training accident involving her powers, there at the monastery she would be to train and study under Master Wu and the Ninja.

Things were to go smoothly. She would be in and out, as soon as Sensei Wu were to figure out what was going on with her powers, and maybe she would even join the team, if her performance were exceedingly impressive.

if only there weren't a small... hiccup interfering with her and another Ninja's focus.

Y/n's and Lloyd's powers were opposites.
And opposites attract, after all.
