Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) affects around 10% of women worldwide. This number may be underestimated due to a lack of proper diagnosis and reporting. I am a biologist and I work on metabolic disorders such as PCOS, their cause-effect relationship with human genetics and gut microbiome. During my research, I realized that the impact of PCOS on mental health has been heavily under-reported and under-acknowledged at least in scientific research article. This series of chapters is my way to create awareness amongst readers about PCOS and its effect on the daily life of women both physically and mentally.
