As the summer comes to a close Will has to say goodbye to his friends and family (godly side of the family), with promises to visit every other weekend, they leave. And once again Will is left at camp for the winter, but this time he has more than just Austin and Kayla who are going to stay with him, he has Nico di Angelo too. But as the seasons change and the leaves turn from green to brown and as the frost seems to cover the world in white, Will remembers what happened years ago. And as he tries to understand, his world is shaken upside down. His world is in pieces, it is shattered because of three words. Nico Di Angelo's school is taking the whole junior year on a trip to Greece. Following the no gender mingling school policy, Nico groups with his best buds Percy Jackson and Jason Grace. All is well and good before Will Solace joins their bubble. Nico gets a strange, tingly, ticklish feeling in his stomach when he's around Will. It doesn't help when they have to pair off to explore the Parthenon and Percy and Jason take off, leaving Nico alone with Will. It also doesn't help when the two boys decide to share a bed at the hotels.
