Rincón and Cedro are two Harris' Hawks deep in the Sonoran Desert. Rincón is the leader of a small mining operation fighting to get off the ground. Unable to hire more help, she's shouldering too many duties alone. Cedro is new to the area and has recently joined a new pack of hawks. In spite of his best efforts, however, he's often a target for their abuse and disdain.

After their paths cross during a raven attack, they come to realize that the life they each want is dependent on the other...
