Golden Feathers - Wings of Avail

In a world of four nations, there lies an entire realm with beings called velcrons. Warriors of the Sky, bearers of feathered wings, velcrons live their lives with pride and honor for the sake of their clans. They hone their skills in fighting, hoping to achieve a higher standing in the realm of Avail. The strongest warriors are praised and looked up to. Some are even given the highest of merits by being recognized by the ruler of Avail, bearer of the golden feathers.
However, not everyone has the same ambitions. Off in the far corner of Avail, there is one particular velcron with wings of black feathers who holds little interest in becoming a warrior of the sky. But what would happen when her dying clan is threatened? Will she fight, or will she allow her past to keep her bounded?
