For 10 years Elena Hart has lived in the basement. After getting kidnapped and watching her family get murdered, people think she is dead. But she isn't, though she wishes she is. At the age of 18 she finally has the chance to leave. So she runs, and runs, and runs. And she comes across a police car. Finally for the first time, after everything she has been through she feels safe once more. When she finally gets comfortable she finds out something that has her world crashing down once more. And after all that she doesn't get a break. She never gets a break from the dark side of life. 

Getting back into society was the easy part, fitting in is the hard part, fitting in and learning how to be a normal human. But she isn't. Not even after escaping life still won't let her be. She ends up pregnant, with his kids and her world falls down once more. 

Through everyone there was only a few people who were there, truly. And those people were Charlie and Jasper. And as she lives with Charlie and becomes friends with Jasper she realizes maybe life isn't all that bad after all. Maybe, just maybe, she can be happy.All Rights Reserved
