Will Byers has been different since his time in the Upside Down, and his body has completely changed due to his time there. No one who had been to the end for a straight week had come back, so Will was patient number one. But maybe Will wasn't rescued and was allowed to be saved by the higher beings of the Upside Down.

As the new decade was approaching and the Party was approaching graduation, something else was in progress. They all start believing that the gate under the mall isn't the only door between their world and the upside-down. Though Will is trying to ignore the red flags and see his visions as just a stupid nightmare... that might have been the wrong choice as Vecna wants to create an army of human/demegorgan hybrids to be on his side of the incoming war against the world.

And while a battle is scary, the internal conflict of one's self can be much scarier. takes place right after the season four <3 (tw: mentions of homophobia and abuse in the first chapter. also dwells on pretty dark themes such as death. ANGST LOTS OF IT OMG)
