The Realm of Ninjago is made of legends and strings of fate.
The thing is, Val's pretty sure she isn't part of that fate.
Especially considering Ninjago is. Y'know. A children's show.
But then she somehow finds herself thrown into its world, as impossible as that is, and with seemingly no way out.
Now stuck between a hard place and the show's main plot, Val realizes that the cartoon wildly tuned down just how horrifying the place really was. What with the constant villain attacks and the prophecies that never stop coming, living in Ninjago is nothing short of a nightmare.
So Val is making sure she wakes up on the other side of the screen.
Another self indulgent fic joins the ranks. Obligatory disclaimer that I don't own Ninjago or the cover art. Also also this is a silly fic taken seriously, so be nice :)

(May have huge gaps between upload times but this story will be finished, that I can promise) Everyone thinks of Kai as a selfish person who puts himself before others and many other negative things. As Kai's time as a ninja, he always heard these comments and he couldn't do anything about it so he has to bottle his feelings whenever people say this. One day when he was on a mission with Cole to save some adventurous that got stuck in a narrow cave a disaster struck on Kai. After the mission Cole got all the thanks and Kai got none, Cole was the only one who truly understood what happened. Kai gets sick of how he is being treated and leaves to have a walk to take his mind off of things... but then he meets someone he didn't expect to meet... Non-canon ships are not implied but take it as you wish, just not greenflame because no.
