(Second book of the War series)

Six months after the Alliance took South America, Central America, and the US has proved to be a challenging time for all involved. Despite holding advantage in a lot of areas, they are still fighting two wars, one against Cerberus and the other against the Corrupter's Armada, previously known as the Anthro Army. Focusing on the latter, the Alliance has made slow yet steady progress in retaking Canada, while the members of the previously known Human Army, the Shadow Legion, were defending against Cerberus. 

Events have also been happening that have been, so far, unexplainable. Reports from all over have been giving signs of a fourth Army, one of unknown origin or numbers. They arrive suddenly from out of nowhere and attack a place, before disappearing just as quickly. It is assumed that whatever this army is, they are beyond advanced when it comes to hiding a large force.

The Eastern Continents are no exception either, as scavenging teams have reported a sudden change in behavior from the Reapers. Where Reapers would normally patrol all over, they have completely changed in strategy and have gone deeper into the Eastern Continents.  While some towns are considered Reaper free, others have Reapers guarding it, preventing anyone from entering. It is still unknown as to what could have caused this sudden shift, and that worries a lot of people.

Will the Alliance fall to either army, or will they push through and stand as the last one standing?

This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. Years into the advent of the Second Calamity, mankind has devised ways of protecting those without powers, by use of the ones imbued with magic. Under the flag of the Confederation of Nations, hunters, scholars, healers, spellcasters, are trained and brought together in Covenants that fight the undead and make the world safer. But when the lurking creatures start acting out of character and unexpected events begin to take place, can the Confederation still be trusted? I recommend reading the first two parts before this! After only two weeks into the anthro takeover, things have gone right and wrong on both sides. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED) I wrote this because I was inspired by "A Man In A Beast's World" by @GhillieCamo. If you're looking for a mostly military type war story that is similar, this isn't the story for you. While the original inspiration stemmed from GhillieCamo's story, I wrote this story with the intention of creating an intense science-fiction experience, with some horror, thriller and mystery elements. If that isn't what you're looking for, you're simply in the wrong place. Though, I really think I put a lot of effort into this, so it would mean a lot to me to give it a chance. I am a huge fan of science-fiction, and this story definitely reflects that. A beginner mercenary as everyone likes to remind me. The others in my group have been calling me 'Rookie' since I joined them three months ago. I'm beginning to wonder if they actually know my name. We have been hired to help the New Reach Caravan travel across the wastelands to Philly Del Phia, and this is the perfect opportunity to show them that I'm not just a dumb Rookie. I'm actually quite good at my job. I just happen to get distracted by one certain Eight-Ball, but it's not my fault he's good-looking, and charming, and funny... Anyway, all I have to do is help my group get the caravan to Del Phia. Should be an easy enough job. Just avoid the zoms and keep clear of the Raiders, and we should be fine... Right?
