"Was... was that an earthquake?" She asked, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and surprise.
"It can't be," Kingsley replied, reaching out for his daughter instinctively. "There haven't been any earthquakes in Angel Fall for over fifty years."
"Whatever this is, it's not over," Bryan added solemnly as the previously clear sky began to rumble, the beautiful sunset marred by a sudden downpour.
"I'm afraid this is far beyond an earthquake," Fortune said, his voice tinged with blatant fear as he stared into the horizon, horror etched on his face as if he was gazing into the gates of hell.
"What is it?" Jeffrey asked, pulling a frightened Rachel close.
"That," Rachel pointed to the direction Fortune stared at, a distance towards MET lab; The sky over the city was afire. A brilliant blue flame, crawling through the sky.
"The... Fuck!" The words rolled off Max tongue as his widened eyes reflected the blue blaze.
"Something is wrong with Aurixia,"
"What do you mean?" Jeffrey's voice was urgent, his eyes pleading for an explanation. Fortune turned to them, his own eyes grim as he declared:
"It's an Apocalypse!"
