In the year 2085, Tessa Caldwell has everything that she wants in life. She has a loving mother, a fiercely loyal best friend, and a New York City apartment overlooking the bay. However, not everything is perfect. 

Growing up as the daughter of CEO Tonya Caldwell, Tessa knows that the experimental technology her mother created is revolutionary. But when Arthur Willis, her mother's rival of twenty years, threatens their livelihood- Tessa refuses to stand by. Tessa ventures out to confront Arthur Willis to discover that not everything is what it seems.

"In The Shadows of My Mind" is a short story containing six parts that is approximately 9,500 words. This is an original work written by myself in 2018-2019. Currently, I am in-depth editing theses individual parts before publishing the short story on Wattpad.
