Laura's been through a lot in her life, with having to move to her uncle William Lennoxs after her parents passed in a house fire 7 years ago. Now she just wants her uncle to return home safely so there is no more loss in her life.
To keep herself occupied and her mind off the thoughts of her uncle in the war, she turns to her
country roots and rodeoing. Her job at the Duttons Ranch is a great distraction as well, and holds most of her closest friends.
But what happens when her uncle does return home? Along with some acquaintances that he apparently fought alongside with?
