Ayesha had said yes. The words had slipped out, and now she stood there, heart pounding, feeling the weight of it all. She'd agreed to the marriage proposal, but it felt surreal, like she was watching it happen from the outside. Nothing felt right.

Before she could even process what she'd done, Salaar stormed in. His eyes were blazing, his jaw set in anger as he grabbed her wrist and yanked her against the nearest wall. His body crowded hers, leaving no room to breathe, no room to escape.

"You fucking said yes?" he hissed, voice low and lethal. It wasn't a question; it was a demand. "Who the fuck told you you're allowed to say yes? You're not saying yes."

Ayesha's breath hitched, pulse racing. "It's my life, Salaar-"

"Fuck that." His grip tightened, anger radiating off him. "You think I'll let you say yes to someone else? Fuck no. You don't get to decide this. You don't say yes to anyone but me."

Her heart raced as his words sank in, and fear crawled up her spine. There was something terrifying in the way his whole body shook with barely contained rage. "You can't control me, Salaar," she managed to say, but her voice faltered.

His eyes darkened, and before she could move, his hand slid to the back of her neck, forcing her head to the side. His lips claimed the soft skin of her neck, hard and unforgiving. His kiss wasn't tender; it was a possessive mark, each one deeper and more demanding than the last until her skin burned with the bruise he left behind.

"You're mine," he growled against her neck, his breath hot and rough. "No one else touches you. No one else fucking gets to have you. You say yes to someone else? Fuck that. I won't fucking let it happen."

His lips still worked against her neck, possessive and unrelenting, grounding her in place.
