Inside the Walls

Pale is just another girl in her village. Her village is surrounded by a large stone wall to keep everyone inside safe. However, when one of the stones near the bottom of the wall deteriorates, Pale finds out that there are other villages on the other side of the wall and, actually, her village is just one of hundreds of villages within the walls.
Then, Pale finds out something else: someone doesn't want her to know about all the other villages. Soon, Pale has to go on the run to stay alive. To stay alive, Pale ends up running through all the other villages on the other side of the wall, each of them surrounded by the stone wall without knowing that there are other villages.
However, when the villages start to run out, Pale is faced with a problem. Someone is trying to kill her and she isn't brave enough to go past the stone wall to the place where there are no more villages. Will Pale survive? Who is trying to kill her? Will she be able to build up the courage to go past the last stone wall or will she continue to hide in all the villages within the stone walls?
