The entire wizarding world knew of Harry Potter the boy who lived and his story. The story that started with a prophecy. One that described a boy born the end of July, to people who thrice defied the Dark Lord. Everyone knew that there was a traitor in the presence during the reading of the prophecy, who revealed this boy to Voldemort. Resulting in that fateful Halloween night.

But what the wizarding world is unaware of, is the fact that a second prophecy was made that very same night. With little people to hear, it stated that a girl born to the purest of families, The Chosen Ones destined love, was the key to the defeat of Voldemort and his followers.

"Neither can live while the other survives." The world knew by heart.

"He cannot succeed without her by his side." The world knew not.

Adrian. A daughter treated like a son. Her father was so sure she was a boy, she was named before she even arrived. When they found out she was a girl, the name stayed. A Malfoy does not revise decisions. She's quiet. Careful. Perfect. It doesn't matter. They only see Draco's sister. Another snake. She lives in the in-between spaces-and sometimes, she thinks she might actually vanish. Until him. Ron Weasley. All noise and fire. He once muttered, "Great, another snake in the grass," without even looking at her and yet, she still remembers. He doesn't know her. No one does. But they've already decided who she is.
