Felicity "Flick" Martin was just trying to share her passion for true crime when she started her podcast "Real Serial". She didn't expect it'd go anywhere, let alone land her swapping letters with and gathering information on the notorious serial killer Torin "Tac" Combs.
As she uncovers more and more about Tac and his crimes through his letters, her research, and released FBI evidence, Flick makes no mistake in being grateful that he's imprisoned. The world is better off that way.
Reading sections of his letters on her podcast, Flick and her amazing friends piece together the heinous details of crimes Tac has never before admitted to. With their ultimate goal being to bring closure to the families, this unsavory journey rockets her podcast into low level fame and has some damaging repercussions on her already lacking mental health.
