Beatrice Prior went to a private school for most of her life. Right before starting her Junior year her father got relocated to Chicago for his job. Her and her brother, Caleb, kept mostly to their selves their whole Junior year. Only interacting with other people if they accidentally bumped into them in the hallways, but that is it. Beatrice and Caleb didn't mind their life being this way. All books, studying, helping other people, helping their parents around the house, coming home before 8:30 each and every night. This was how they always lived, and they didn't plan on changing it.
Until a certain school jock got his attention caught by Beatrice. Beatrice heard rumors about him, but being the person she was she helped him. This got her the nickname Tris from the one and only Four. When this happened she knew her life was changing in way she didn't want it to... or so she thought.
