After the battle in Witwicky with Mandroid, and after Agent Croft's death, Agent Shloder decided to change things within the G.H.O.S.T inderstries by liberating all the Decepticons that where in prison. Schloder wanted to make it up for the things his sister did to the bots, so he decided to ask every single bot prisoner and the bots that worked for G.H.O.S.T what their most wanted desires where, hoping to gain their trust. After asking all the other bots, he goes up to the last one remaining, Soundwave...

But she's human. And they both have a daughter together named ThunderHeart. Which makes her half human and half Cybertronian. Which Soundwave loves his daughter with every fiber of his being. But it's hard for the silent mech because he can't visit them that much that he likes too. Because of his master Lord Megatron. And yes. Lord Megatron doesn't know about this secret. And that's what Soundwave wants. This to be kept a secret. He makes sure that his wife and daughter gets everything that they need. He also sends them gifts from afar. He also yearns and he thinks about someday that he will be able to hold his wife in his arms and to hug his daughter and to see her grow up. But he also speaks to his daughter through a bond that him and his daughter share because she is half Cybertronian.
