After the battle in Witwicky with Mandroid, and after Agent Croft's death, Agent Shloder decided to change things within the G.H.O.S.T inderstries by liberating all the Decepticons that where in prison. Schloder wanted to make it up for the things his sister did to the bots, so he decided to ask every single bot prisoner and the bots that worked for G.H.O.S.T what their most wanted desires where, hoping to gain their trust. After asking all the other bots, he goes up to the last one remaining, Soundwave...

Soundwave, the Decepticons Communications Officer and Surveillance Lieutenant, has recently had an accident in one of the Energon Mines. A terrified girl finds herself mixed up with three other children in a war that had somehow reached to them. Unlike the other children, she did not have a home to go back to. Scars like hers run too deep and she does not know what worth she could even give to the transformers who have now become her guardians to protect her from decepticons. Her near constant presence in their base seems to be a bother to the transformers, she can tell even if they do not say it out loud to her. The girl is not a fool. However, when they realize just how deep her pain truly was and how far she is willing to end it, Optimus is unwilling to give up on her. She does not understand his reasons, they slowly become clear. And when she finally runs in with Optimus's arch enemy, she finds herself eyeing off a certain decepticon leader in a way that she should not have. And she did not know why. Megatron himself feels he simply had taken something so precious from Prime, and enjoys watching the autobot panic in trying to find her. But, the girl began to confuse his spark.
