HOPE || Aang
It's been three years since the world burned. Three years since Sozin's Comet scorched the skies... and the Avatar fell. The Fire Nation's victory left the earth blackened and hollow. Kingdoms have crumbled, hope has withered, and whispers of rebellion fade beneath the weight of fear. Far from the ashes of the war, deep within the mists of the great swamp, Asa tries to keep what little light remains alive. She has lost her father, and he was everything - her best friend, her teacher, her home, her faith - yet she endures. She heals, she helps, she gives what she can to others, even when there's nothing left for herself. Because someone has to believe that the world can still be kind. But when a group of wounded strangers stumble into her village - carrying secrets, scars, and the weight of the past - Asa's fragile peace begins to tremble. Among them is a quiet, haunted boy with gray eyes. A boy who hides his power behind silence, and his pain behind duty. There's something about him - something broken, something lost, something familiar. And as days turn into weeks, Asa finds herself drawn to him - to his laughter, his gentleness, his fire buried deep beneath guilt and grief. But hope is dangerous in a world that's forgotten how to dream.

There is one other blessed with unnatural abilities. They are rare and they are strong, constantly sought out to be used as weapons, nothing but dolls without a name. After one hundred years, another child with these powers was born, but was brought to a world of war before they could truly see it. A child born of Four Nations, but loyal to none. A child that holds flames of a pure white color. A child who's very name was taken from her. This is her story. The story of the DragonBorn.
