Meet Mikey Gavin, a closeted gay boy who is forced to act mute in front of everyone. Why you may ask? Because his homophobic father, in his twisted logic, thinks that if his son was a freak and told everyone that he liked the same gender, people would assume he was gay also and see him differently. Mikey is constantly being beaten by his alcoholic father and has no choice but to live in the attic. He gets little food and has become his fathers personal slave.
Oh, and he also likes Aiden walker.
Now, meet Aiden Walker, the most popular and attractive kid at the school. Quarterback with a 90% chance of receiving a scholarship to the college of his dreams. Aiden is the only openly gay boy at the school who doesn't get any shit for it. He has his friends, he has his followers and admirers...And he also has students who fear him for his "taste" in bullying for the fun of it.
