stars fall with a spectacular array of colours. branching out on highly energized waves that we learned too late that tore the atmosphere and damaged DNA greatly. then came the traveller's that settled up bases, thinking that the earth was deserted. but Humanity have a determination unlike anything other. by tunneling underground and breaking appart the CO2. the bases underground are livable due to this process but leaving is strictly forbidden. that is until the bases started to run out of supplies.

When it came they hadn't anticipated the extent of solar power. Their power sources were ruined and they knew that they wouldn't survive long without them. Some people left to take their chances in the new wild but those who were left spent hours pondering solutions as the power dwindled and the life-force faded. Only when the people who were left out to face the sun found the bases did they find a solution. The outsiders were deranged and barely human, changed by the radiation of the sun, they were taken into the bases and were sedated and hooked up to the power source.
