Her eyes scanned his entire form. Folded sleeves (checked) Veiny hands (checked) Toned chest (checked) And... she abruptly halted, suddenly aware of her boldness. She slowly lifted her head, silently praying to every deity for deliverance from her thoughts. But he already had a smirk plastered on his face, for which she was unprepared. She internally groaned and cursed in her mildest of languages, yet she managed to maintain a poker face. Raising her brows at him, she asked, "What!?" when she could no longer endure the intensity of his gaze. His eyebrows rose in amusement and slight surprise at her audacious attitude, even when she should have at least looked away, blushed, or felt a modicum of embarrassment. "If Her Highness is finished scrutinizing me, may I be graced with a few of her words?" he inquired, more like demanded, while biting his inner cheeks to stifle the smile creeping onto his face. "Sure, why not?" Aadhya responded with a shrug. "Have some shame and button up your shirt, fully. Also, I don't understand it. If you're so keen on displaying your chest, why bother wearing a shirt at all? Just take it off. Simple." She mocked. Yuvan looked at her in disbelief. She shrugged nonchalantly, adopting an I-don't-care demeanor, and walked past him. She mentally patted herself on the back for coming up the response in time, saving herself from embarrassment. "You insolent girl," he yelled after her, though a faint smile colored his voice. Aadhya suppressed her smile and turned around, still walking backward. Remembering his words, she began, "Only exclusive for you...Mon Chevalier." She added after a dramatic pause. (My knight) She continued walking, her long, thick hair bouncing with every step and her laughter echoing through the hallways. Yuvan was left speechless by her words. He remained silent, unsure of how to respond. *First few/10 chapters might be boring but it will be worth it.* GIVE IT A CHANCE AND YOU WON'T REGRET IT

"I..I just came to get my phone" I fumbled with my words, my voice small and uncertain in the face of his towering presence. I fidgeted with the hem of my shirt, feeling like a child about to be scolded. He raised one eyebrow "Your phone?" "Yes my phone" He crossed his arms over his chest, his eyes narrowing slightly. "And why do you think that I will give your phone back to you" he asked, his tone still sharp. "Because that phone belongs to me. Her owner and that's me" I said lifting my head up to see him. He looked down at me, his eyes locking with mine. And then I noticed something which I shouldn't-the bump on his head which was because of me. But it doesn't suit him because his face is so long and a small bump doesn't suit him but it looks funny and I couldn't control my laugh so I laughed. Hehehehee! He noticed my chuckle and his eyes flashed with anger. "Bahut hassi aa rhi hai na" he snapped, his jaw clenching as he took a step towards me. And me? Well I like to dig my own grave. Yaa I'm still laughing like heheheh taking a step back. He stepped even closer, towering over me, forcing me to tilt my head back to look up at him. His presence was imposing, and his eyes held no trace of humour or warmth. "You think it's funny?" he growled, his voice low and dangerous, making me stop mid-laugh. I swallowed thickly, suddenly realising the gravity of the situation. His expression was stern, his eyes boring into mine with a mixture of anger and intensity. "N..no," I muttered, taking another step back. My back hit railing behind me trapping me in. He took another step closer, closing the distance between us. I was effectively trapped between the railing and him, with no escape route. My heart pounded in my chest, a mixture of fear and anticipation coursing through me. q.q:βˆžβ™‘*β™₯ Troupes- - she fell first, he fell harder -onesided love -enemies to lovers -mother's best friend son -slow burn romance
