Nile Cadsmith always put on a serious face, a face that a Greek hero would use to shield themselves from the horrors of the world, and provide themselves with strength.

Victoria turned to him. "You know," she breathed, "you should smile more."

Nile stared at her for a few seconds, and Victoria wished that she could take a step into his brain even just for a single moment. He continued walking towards the door to leave but stopped as his hand laid on the handle. "Maybe," he murmured, "maybe for you."

                                                                                 -----

Victoria has one dream and only two goals. Convince her parents to allow her to partake in an English Literature undergraduate degree, and become a published author. When Victoria receives a life-changing opportunity to temporarily join an exclusive association, the leader Nile Cadsmith intertwines himself with her journey and starts to develop a goal of his own.

But what happens when Victoria discovers that his goal conflicts with hers?
