Emily Barnett isn't a huge Beatles fan or British. Her knowledge of The Beatles extended from Hey Jude to Here comes the sun. Somehow, she ends up in Liverpool in 2018, with a Manc roommate Margaret Irving who dresses like it's the 1960s everyday.

Getting stuck in the year 1960 certainly isn't ideal, and falling in love with a boy who is about to become a world famous musician isn't either. Yet Emily is stuck and has no choice but to watch as history goes down until she finds a way to go back home to 2018.
