Watch Jacob as he suddenly gets whisked away to the world of Guardian Tales. Will he survive in this new unfamiliar environment, away from the world he once called home and embrace this new way of life? Will he adapt and thrive, or will he wither and fade away? It's up to him to decide what his choices are to make in his journey, and it's up to YOU to determine whether or not to acknowledge him and his achievements.

Contains:
[Oneshot]s - scenarios and events that may or may be canon to the story
[What-If]s - alternative scenarios to the canon story
[If-Shot]s - a one-off scenario explored in short
[Story] - the meat and potatoes
[Side-Story]s - the side dishes
[Snippets] - sneak peak of the content within the story

Do expect a probably biased way of story telling (hoping it ain't), grammatical errors every now and then (no auto-correct to save me now), game and in-game references, references in general (potential spoilers for each property may or may not be included), novice writing and dialogue, constant need of editing and improvement, and a somewhat decent to enjoyable fic.

Do note that the game, Guardian Tales, is not of my property or any way associated with it. Give kudos and support to Kong Studios for making the game. Any sort of resemblance of any real-life figures and events are purely coincidental unless said otherwise.

What would you do if you found yourself trapped in a video game as an NPC with seemingly no hope of returning to the real world? Having grown up without parents, Daisuke finds himself in a perpetual cycle of poverty as he tries to survive in the bottom rung of society. When the world's first VRMMORPG, Sehreneti Online, is released to the public, he decides to take a gamble by borrowing a buttload of money from some shady people to propel his hack-selling side hustle into the big leagues. After nearly getting his leg twisted into a pretzel for failing to pay off his loan on time, Daisuke decides to put his plan, Operation Jupiter, into action. Although a cool-sounding name, he didn't seem to be in Lady Luck's good graces that day. After uploading the code into his capsule and commencing the startup, everything goes haywire, booting his consciousness into the virtual world. When Daisuke comes to, he finds himself as a newborn fresh out the meat oven-and, of course, his circumstances are far from ideal. Apparently, he is still poor, but instead of being an orphan, he is now the son of a prostitute in the slums, with seemingly no connection to the game system or the real world. How will Daisuke overcome this trial, and will he be able to return to the real world? If you enjoy GameLit and LitRPG light novels such as Sword Art Online, Solo Leveling, The Rising of the Shield Hero, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, then you'll definitely enjoy this epic tale!

𝄞 The Promised Neverland x F!Reader 𝄞 "People change, whether we like it or not." Grace Field Orphanage was a child's paradise. Their caretaker was a saint. All of the orphans were closely knit into one big family. All except one. [Name] had never felt this familial connection, nor did she ever experience the childish joy that her "siblings" did. She always stayed by the sidelines, watching her so-called family as they lived their perfect lives playing house. That had always been her life, until this random boy shoves his way into her life, bringing three gremlins with him. Living her life with these new lights, [Name] had been blinded by the lantern as the rest of them had. Flash forward seven years, and now she is the lantern's tender, leading the children away with its light. There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. Magpie, the first to be involved, suddenly finds himself in the world so unlike his own. Will he find his place there or will he be at least able to go back home? He seems to find his way back from this new world of giga-dimensions but something unwanted happens, and things go worse. The cultural differences, together with a challenging personality traits of another involved in the events, suck Magpie and his friends into a downward spiral. The story challenges you to see the world differently from the perspective you are perhaps too used to and narrowed by. Life can be an adventure if you don't narrow it with a bigotry that forces you to be rooted in your trenches and behind your dividing walls. This doesn't mean you have to accept others' views without standing your ground. However, to be able to share our lives in this one and only world we need to make compromises, on both sides. Are you the first brave one to set this positive trend in motion? So read on and let the foundation of the story be laid. From the end of episode 1 on, the story really picks up, finally reaching its climax at the end of episode 3 with quite a surprising finish. Your participation in solving this shared challenge of coexistence and cooperation is highly appreciated. Remember those who cooperate make more progress than those who don't! The ideal audience for my first book is actually between 12 and 16, but anybody older and interested in adventures, cultures and in getting more understanding into our multifaceted world is sure to enjoy the story. (The whole story has now been published, the only thing I'll still add is the final epilogue but the story is already available in its entirety.)

Walk with me through miscellaneous oneshots I've written over the years and have rescued from my Google Doc Graveyard. Each oneshot will be at least 1000 words (in the case of any exceptions, I'll preface the chapter by announcing the under 1K words word count, though that instance is very unlikely) and has been posted on AO3 as its own individual, complete work. (Most of these are well over 4K and some are as many as 15K, so they aren't really oneshots, but I'm too lazy to publish them each individually. XD) These stories aren't really oneshots, kind of like mini-stories, if you will. This book will be updated sporadically because there will only be new installments when I write a full oneshot, things I take a lot of time to fully develop and create. That said, when this book is officially finished, I will announce it, so this book will never go on a hiatus of any kind, even if I haven't updated in several months. Thank you! ~ Started: 6/2/20 Finished: 0/0/0
