Watch Jacob as he suddenly gets whisked away to the world of Guardian Tales. Will he survive in this new unfamiliar environment, away from the world he once called home and embrace this new way of life? Will he adapt and thrive, or will he wither and fade away? It's up to him to decide what his choices are to make in his journey, and it's up to YOU to determine whether or not to acknowledge him and his achievements.

Contains:
[Oneshot]s - scenarios and events that may or may be canon to the story
[What-If]s - alternative scenarios to the canon story
[If-Shot]s - a one-off scenario explored in short
[Story] - the meat and potatoes
[Side-Story]s - the side dishes
[Snippets] - sneak peak of the content within the story

Do expect a probably biased way of story telling (hoping it ain't), grammatical errors every now and then (no auto-correct to save me now), game and in-game references, references in general (potential spoilers for each property may or may not be included), novice writing and dialogue, constant need of editing and improvement, and a somewhat decent to enjoyable fic.

Do note that the game, Guardian Tales, is not of my property or any way associated with it. Give kudos and support to Kong Studios for making the game. Any sort of resemblance of any real-life figures and events are purely coincidental unless said otherwise.

In a fictional universe where dazzling creatures roam and horrific monsters lurk, a Star Warrior suddenly awakens in a desert. With no memory of who she was or who she may be, so it feels like she was supposed to go to an afterlife, but was accidentally left behind somehow... At the same time, another Star Warrior named Augustine wanders the same charred wastelands of that planet after being left there to die." They meet by coincidence, and team up to help find their ways back home. Along the way, they meet several other Star Warriors, natives, and even multiple Halcandrans, who are also going through a predicament themselves: A disease is on the loose, after a lab "accident" in a lab on Halcandra; The Dark-Matter-infused virus wreaks havoc on the universe as it makes ruin of the minds of hundreds innocent Star Warriors, Halcandrans, and even Mirror Worlders. As it spreads like wildfire, the small group of heroes and misfits do their part, whether recruiting more help or doing research on how to cure it, they work hardest and do their best. But is it enough to stop the disease and its snake-tongued harbinger, before it infects and destroys them as well? (DISCLAIMER! I do not own any of HAL laboratory's/Nintendo's characters, games, locations, and other things. Just a book of random one-shots. Some of them are good, most of them are bad. Read at your own discretion, and enjoy! DISCLAIMER: Requests and suggestions have been discontinued on this book! Please go to my second one-shot book to request whatever you'd like! NOTE: Point of view is in the second person unless otherwise stated. And, I like to keep things different around here. You won't always be the lover. Heck, you won't even be the friend at some points. You could straight up be the bad guy in the story. But it'll be fun, I promise. Not all of them are like that. I just write in a darker or more emotional tone when I feel like it. However, if you always like being the girl/boyfriend or the heartbroken lover (which I have nothing against), then this might not be the book for you. There are TONS of other, better one-shot books than mine, and I highly suggest you check them out as well! I find myself in the habit of rearranging the one-shots based off of the part (ex. part one, part two, etc.) so there might be a bit of confusion as to where my parts appear in the book. There are a few reader inserts, for example, there's a one-shot in here that inserts the reader into Matthias' video for Google IRL, but there's only a few of them like that, so it's there if you like that stuff, and there isn't too much of it for people who find it distasteful. Side note, I try to keep this as gender ambiguous as possible. Not all of them will be completely ungendered (if it isn't, it will most likely be female unless someone specifically requested a male reader), but I try to as much as possible. Hopefully, you can forgive me for that. And finally, no smut/lemons. I hope you understand, as I'm not quite comfortable writing that sort of thing. The closest that will get to will be some cuddling and light kissing.

It's a bit harder than I thought to find a story where the heroes have to deal with long term consequences. Most stories seem to like; short choices, short consequences, and everyone is left wondering what will happen years later. It isn't as realistic to have a story just, END. That would feel too "staged." Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. So what about this story is so different from the others? Well in this book, now, this SERIES, I decided to focus on how the past is impacting the present. It could be big decisions like going to war or not, or it could be small, like simply forgetting to tell your friend thanks every now and then. This is a story that takes place after my main series, one that I am still working on :} It is kind of a finale clincher, but at the same time, it is only the next chapter, the next stage one might call it. However, I made sure to write this in a way so that you have to pay attention to find out how things connect. All in all, this is a story, a series, about dealing with the mistakes of the past. Just about everyone has made a mistake that comes to affect this book. This series of books. And THIS, is when their choices come around to haunt them. -Everyone's fav, EVM :} [1st in the: Descendants of Heroes, series. Right after the Bedrock Breakers trilogy] (book is finished, just transferring it from my journals to Wattpad -about February 2019)

Started~ Nov 12 2021 Finished~ Dystopia: an imagined state or society in which there is great suffering or injustice, typically one that is totalitarian or post-apocalyptic. "Do you love me, Cadet?" Why? That seemed to be a question you've been asking yourself a lot lately. Growing up in the underground was tough. You needed to fight for survival, food, money, and even-your freedom. Danny, you're despicable "father", had you stealing from him any chance he got. He was slick and manipulative. Having to steal valuables for him all while taking care of two kids, Kai and Mary, was really hard. The responsibility you held was weighing down on you, making you think more about them and less about you. You didn't mind though. Anything to stay away from the sinful place you call home. After a while of putting up with Danny though, you had you're last straw ripped away when he hurt you're beloved Mary. You ran away to start a new life, taking Mary with you. You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. From your face down to you're gender, it was all concealed. It was all cloaked. But all this changed once they found you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Took you away from the people you loved. They ruined your life, right? But... did they? You're stubbornness and skill capture the attention of a certain short black haired male. Corporal Levi was humanities strongest though, he couldn't like you, could he? He couldn't... At first it seemed strange but pleasant to finally get noticed, but soon you realized, nothing good came from the Corporal. In fact, your life seemed to turn into a living Dystopia. Warnings: Swears Gore Smut/lemon Manipulative Characters Degrading Sexual harassment

There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. Magpie, the first to be involved, suddenly finds himself in the world so unlike his own. Will he find his place there or will he be at least able to go back home? He seems to find his way back from this new world of giga-dimensions but something unwanted happens, and things go worse. The cultural differences, together with a challenging personality traits of another involved in the events, suck Magpie and his friends into a downward spiral. The story challenges you to see the world differently from the perspective you are perhaps too used to and narrowed by. Life can be an adventure if you don't narrow it with a bigotry that forces you to be rooted in your trenches and behind your dividing walls. This doesn't mean you have to accept others' views without standing your ground. However, to be able to share our lives in this one and only world we need to make compromises, on both sides. Are you the first brave one to set this positive trend in motion? So read on and let the foundation of the story be laid. From the end of episode 1 on, the story really picks up, finally reaching its climax at the end of episode 3 with quite a surprising finish. Your participation in solving this shared challenge of coexistence and cooperation is highly appreciated. Remember those who cooperate make more progress than those who don't! The ideal audience for my first book is actually between 12 and 16, but anybody older and interested in adventures, cultures and in getting more understanding into our multifaceted world is sure to enjoy the story. (The whole story has now been published, the only thing I'll still add is the final epilogue but the story is already available in its entirety.)
