It's been six months since Captain Rex first saw Fives on Lothal. Now he is back on Yavin Four, trying not to think about his brother who went missing after having been presumed dead for nineteen years while preparing to evacuate the base. But when some old friends contact Rex with a lead, he is torn between fighting with the rebellion and finding his brother.

Fives, meanwhile, is no longer on Lothal. Still using his alias, Cody, him and Liers the medic are getting closer to considering joining the rebellion. But when Liers goes missing on Ord Mantell after a run in with an Imperial informant, Fives is forced to take drastic measures to find his brother.

Will Rex stay with the rebellion? And will Fives be able to find Liers?

With this revelation, the Clones had been able to save many Jedi. Not all, but many Jedi. Upon finding out about this revelation, Palpatine would initiate Plan B for his Empire. What was Plan B? The Rebirth of the Sith Empire, and thus, The Rule of Two had been abolished as the Galaxy would soon be thrown into an age of darkness. With the Jedi and the Republic gone into hiding, The Empire was left to continue to grow. But there was Hope. On the Planet of Lothal, a group of kids would find themselves dragged into the conflict as they would rise to join the Republic and save the Galaxy from the Empire.

This story began as a Captain Rex fan fiction but I have evolved it into something more. The year is 5 BBY, roughly the time of the Empire's most powerful years. Captain Rex's mission of rescuing Cody will soon begin, and in doing so he wishes to form a rebellion to bring back the Republic. Hear the events that brought Rex back in action to rescue Cody and Anakin once and for all. The Clone Wars end, Chancellor Palpatine is revealed as the Sith Lord and taken down by the Jedi, the chips are found and deactivated, Order 66 never happens and the Clones are finally given the rights they deserve for all they've done. All is well. And yet, the fighting doesn't seem to be over. A deeply wounded Republic, left reeling from a war orchestrated by its own leader, desperately needs someone to blame for the all the death and chaos in the Galaxy, the deception by the Sith and the suffering across the systems. With the true perpetrator dead, it eventually sets its sight on the Jedi and turns its back on them. The Jedi themselves, exhausted by the long years of battle and hardships, don't defend themselves while the Clones watch horrified as the ones who stood by their side throughout all the horror and bloodshed are scorned and shunned by the very thing they swore to protect.
