Florence Jones is 15 years old and has already decided on several things. For example, she knows how she likes her dad's spaghetti carbonara (with the extra crispy bacon pieces on top), she knows how she finds a good cup of tea (strong with a splash of milk) and she really will get a Hedgehog. Yet above all, she's decided that she fiercely hates Kai Smith.
The summer before year 11 is the last year of freedom. The year before the first of the big exams in her future. It is meant to be perfect. Instead, she finds herself on the way to Ninjago city with her father after her parent's abrupt divorce. She must adjust to a new school, new friends and, weirdly, the long forgotten art of Spinjitsu.
