Damian Estacado was once the youngest of the inheritors of the entity known as the Darkness, an ancient entity of chaos, son of Jackoe Estacado, head of the Francettie crime family, but also a superhero who lead a group called the Teen Team.

But Damian died shortly after he turned sixteen. Now, a year later, Damian has returned from Hell as a Hellspawn still with the power of the Darkness.
