Cass is a 18 year old who's had a bad year. Her mom has left, her dad is depressed and her boyfriend throughout her high school years has left her for a slutty college cheerleader and a football scholarship in another state. She's graduating, but just barely. And her brother just got kicked out of school. Life's pretty dull as of right now. But everything changes when Cass meets Abel. She saves his life from a terrible accident, and when she touches him, sparks fly, literally. She instantly knows there's something about him that's intriguing but she's supposed to be on a date with his brother. What they've done is called imprinting, and they are each other's Flames. Cass starts experiencing things like she's never felt. Supernatral powers come to her and Abel. But now that Abel has found Cass, his family's mortal enemies have hear about them finding their flames after twenty years of no mates for all Flame clans. And they want in. Somehow, in all of this, Cass is kidnapped. While needing each other's touch to survive, Abel will need to find Cass and save her before her abilities fade, and so will his. Will they be forced to live without one another after just finding each other?
