Caroline hated going to work, not her work. Her colleagues were waiting for the day she would punch her sexist manager and walk out. But she didn't, she never would. Promotion, title, and money that's all mattered. She was not here to fix the world.

The only thing that annoyed her more was her colleague Stefan, who was always the knight, always the guy who didn't need help. She was also slightly interested in that face, that dimple, but she didn't show it. What was his deal? Did his parents tell him crying was not for men?

The one time she made a slight move on him, he said "Caroline... you and me... it's not gonna happen..." and they stopped acknowledging each other.

It was all fine until April 7, the day the company decided they needed to work together. Even people outside her team were betting who would throw papers on whose face first.

What could be worse than two colleagues who barely speak to each other being assigned to handle the biggest project ever?
