Percy is basically betrayed, but that's not what this completely focuses on. It's brought up and is a reason for the cause of events, but what unfolds is merely the plot. You'll enjoy it if you're like me. In depth Percy Jackson.

Years later Tartarus places him on a mission to aid the Gods in their war; he went on to complete his task which unknown to him. He would stumble across his mate. A human girl with the powers of a dragon queen.

The war with Gaea and the Giants was over, and Percy was excited to have the chance to spend time with his beautiful girlfriend. Then everything comes crashing down. A new kid comes stumbling into Camp-Half-Blood, and the moment he lays eyes on the legendary son of Poseidon, he hated him. It didn't help that the new kid was claimed by Poseidon, making him Percy's half-brother. Rumours and lies started to circle Camp-Half-Blood. Lies about how Percy was a traitor to the Gods, that he was spying for the titans the entire time. It finally came to the point where Percy was driven out of camp.
