This is a reimagining of the Sonic IDW Comics, where some of the events play out both slightly the same and pretty differently. Join Sonic and his friends-(Both old & new) as they take on new adventures and battle against Dr Eggman and some new allies of his.

You find out about a mysterious legend about the Master Emerald, capable of shaping thoughts into reality. It's your job to stop Eggman from taking such great power for himself. This is Mike's Journey, a fan-fiction spin-off series for my upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog reboot series pitch-idea on my DeviantArt account/profile. Upon learning that he was adopted and getting separated from his family at a very young age (Due a scientist raising to power and beat out any rivals in his way, even if it harms the wild-life), young 15-Year-Old "Mike the Wolf" goes on a journey of self discovery and mystery to find his family with help from some friends he makes along the way, alongside his best-friend/sibling-in-law (The daughter of Longclaw): "Lilly the Owl".

This time he's imitating Shadow, a painful reminder of her team's death at the hand of the Shadow Androids. When their conflicts collide, Shadow and Whisper (along with Tangle) team up to take down Mimic and find out they have more things in common than they realize. Unfortunately, that includes dealing with trauma. And as Mimic tries to use their traumas against them, can they continue to be friends? Or will their memories end up tearing their friendship and themselves apart? (This fanfic contains spoilers for the IDW comics, especially the Tangle and Whisper mini-series) I'm creating a playlist for this fic so I will be putting recommended songs at the beginning of each chapter if you want to listen to help set the mood.

What started off as a date, turned into 3 days of an action, emotional and crazy adventure as Mike teams up with Tangle and Whisper to take down the Babylon Rogues and someone from Whisper's past, all while Mike shares more about his past with his father. (I recommend you go back and check out the first 12 Episodes of Sonic IDW Reimagining to get up the speed on the story so far, though there will be a story recap on the important moments)

Well, what if I told you about a world where Neo Metal Sonic was actually Organic and was much more powerful than even Sonic the Hedgehog himself? This organic being was a clone of Sonic using his DNA to create the perfect life form of overwhelming strength and will. Eggman gave this creature the name : "Y/N Robotnik". However, due to him being a clone, he didn't desire to be kept up as a cage and a slave, and Sonic's DNA within him craved freedom. After a crushing defeat, Y/N finally snapped and decided to leave the Eggman Empire to find his own path. This eventually led him to a confrontation with Sonic - the original - allowed him to come to a realization and understand as to what he truly wanted. He was Sonic, and Sonic was him, and both wanted the same thing in life - to protect others.
