King of Udyanti who had no children wished to get daughter to face an urgent demand of situation. He asked help from Goddess Yogmaya, and she granted a part of herself as a daughter to him with a condition.

The condition was that girl would live untill a time limit since she was nothing else except an illusion.

The cunning king used that girl for a political alliance, and married her off to Arjun who had only lived for his family ignoring each kind of personal emotions.
