Aaron is a 17-year-old boy, starting his senior year in the worst way possible. In June, his girlfriend, Makayla, was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. He spent nearly all of his summer in the hospital by her side. Just before school started again, she passed away and now Aaron regrets not doing enough for her. Was there something he could have done to prevent her from getting sick in the first place? Walking into school on the first day of his senior year, he's surrounded by everyone celebrating that this is their last year of school. Meanwhile, he's sulking, wishing to relive his high school years all over again. The years he had with Makayla. Just as he's about to give up on school and everything, he runs into Adriana, a 16-year-old girl who suffers a similar struggle; she lost her 9-year-old brother to coronavirus two years ago. As their friendship continues to grow, Adriana helps Aaron with coping through his loss, and he finds himself falling for her. Will he have it in him to open up to a new relationship?
