At nineteen, Alessia Brathwaite was a UConn sophomore who mostly kept to herself or the company of her best friend. She's driven and does not want to be distracted or put her heart at risk when she crosses paths with twenty-year-old Jelani Levins, known by the world as JJ "Longshot" Levins, a starter for the women's basketball team. They're infatuated at the first interaction, and a relationship is bound to happen, but are they prepared for the pressure that comes with everyone's eyes on them? Or will they be successful at hiding what they are? Find out in She's That Somebody. *This is not a fanfic. No current players at UConn are mentioned in this story. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Do you still want to kiss me, Levins?" "Mhm," I practically whimpered; Alessia eased into my lap with no hesitation, her fingers intertwined behind my neck, and our noses just about touched. "Fuck, you know I want it so bad." God, I probably sound so damn desperate. "Show me how much." My hands drifted from her hips to her ass before I helped her grind against me, which served no purpose other than to work me up. "You have all the control, Ma," I restated what I said earlier as my lips worked on a campaign. "Tell me when to stop." "I don't want you to stop." Manicured nails ran through the hair at the nape of my neck. "I want you." "Say it again, Ma." I continued to kiss and suck on her skin, needing a distraction from how much my body wanted to cave in. "What do you want?" "I want you," she repeated, keeping me right where I was. "I want you." "Yeah, Ma? That's my good girl." Her hips bucked in response. "You like when I call you good girl, hmm?" "Mhm." Alessia grabbed me by the chin so we were face-to-face like earlier, our lips landed straight on each other as I held her tighter.

Ryan Navarro traveled eleven hundred miles to the one place he swore he wouldn't go. Gavin left to escape their father's escalating psychological abuse and never came back. No calls. No explanations. Just silence, and a new life Ryan was never invited into. Now Ryan's on his brother's doorstep, bruised, furious, and nowhere else to go, wanting to hate Gavin and needing him anyway. Reconnecting should be simple. It isn't. Because the closer they get, the more the past resurfaces, and Ryan's temper threatens to burn the only second chance he's got. And Gavin is forced to face past mistakes and fears. But as the brothers push through the distance and the old wounds, they start to uncover the truth neither of them expected. They didn't just survive the same man. They became more alike than they ever knew. And their bond grew to depths neither of them knew they both needed. Will their fathers return ruin that bond, or strengthen it? This is a transformation story so you're not going to get perfect characters. In the beginning they are distant and this story is how they both change and grow together again. If you don't like seeing rough ugly characters in the beginning, then watch them change throughout this probably isn't the story for you. *Disclaimer this story does contain emotional, psychological, and physical abuse by a father. MxF relationships and family focused
