A blessing or a curse. Thats how Isa Natsuba described knowing the Sohma family. The Natsuba's are a family friend to the Sohma clan and when Isa is invited in the middle of the night to the sohma beach house for an urgent matter by Shigure, she realises that going on this holiday isn't just to get to know an old family friend no there are other motives and plans at play, ones she is determined to figure out.
In this Fanfic Akito is male, just because it suits the story better in terms of plot. Sorry if this annoys or upsets anyone. Also I do not own the Fruits basket anime or manga, I only own Isa and her story line.
This takes place in the 2019 remake/adaptation.

Akito (A Fruits Basket Fanfiction)
I've always been fascinated by Akito. She's lived her entire life hidden from the world under boys clothes, under this image she's built for herself as some sort of god. She controls the Sohmas with abuse, she does horrible things to them yet none of them seem to blame her or resent her for it, which is part of the curse. She appears on the outside to be some sort of sociopath, who is more than happy to manipulate people to get her own way. But she has this addiction. Every morning once the moment has passed, she is unable to see why she did it, she promises herself that it will never happen again, yet every night she's back outside Shigure's bedroom door, hating herself because she knows she should have more willpower than this. She doesn't understand how she feels about Shigure and it scares her, it scares her a lot. She catches herself wishing for things a sociopath shouldn't wish for, like a loving relationship, a family with Shigure by her side. The only problem is that he sees her the exact same way that she pretends to see him- as a recurring mistake she makes each night that means nothing more than a means to fulfil her needs. In this 'relationship', it's Shigure who is the sociopath. Oh, a couple of warnings, there's gonna be a couple of swear words and sexual references but there won't be any like, actual porny smutty stuff cos… uhm… yeah just no. The most it's gonna get is kissing which I'm awkward enough about writing as it is! Will Akito ever realise her true feelings for her childhood friend?
