Bradyn White is the lead singer of a popular alternative metal band. He's been on the cover of magazines. He's a poster boy and the main reason his band has the tenuous hold on their place in the charts. His music label is willing to continue to back his band as long as he provides them with a solo album to market and help to rehabilitate his image. That's going to be a problem, because he's never written an album alone before. The only thing to do is to get him together with a songwriter to help him meet the label's seemingly impossible deadline. Maddie Landen is a song writer who has finally signed her divorce papers and after years in a toxic relationship, she's finally free but has been left with wounded pride, low self-esteem and bills to pay. Her agent arranges for her to meet Bradyn and there is an immediate spark. Two newly single people living by the motto that the fastest way to get over someone is to get under someone else leads to amazing sex, confused feelings and great song writing.
