A man is to be with a woman, and a woman is to be with a man. At least that's what Milo has been told. In the era of colonial Philippines, where its citizens are united under the force of catholicism, Milo finds it difficult to conceal his real identity. Homosexuality was forbidden. But that didn't stop him from loving his boyfriend, Ethan.

The more the couple continues to spend time with one another, the more the city's citizens raise suspicions. Though Milo and Ethan's love for one another was strong, they shared one fear in common that could tip the state of their relationship. What if their relationship gets exposed?

Unfortunately, their nightmare comes true. The couple is forced to split up, and Milo tremendously suffers. Milo's suffering doesn't go on for too long, when he is offered the chance to pursue a new life, or stay with the pain. Of course, Milo chooses a new life.

Now a university student in Canada, Milo can't help but feel hopeful for his heart. Life in Vancouver was amazing, up until he crosses paths with someone strikingly familiar.

'Lomi' is a story about Filipino culture & heritage, love, healing, and heartbreak. It tells the tale of two gay lovers, and ultimately shows its viewers that whatever is meant for you will always find a way to stay with you. And, if he wanted to, he would.
