Social Life Help and Care Foundation honored with Award of Honour

As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, under the direction of District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain, three workshops have been organized at the district level for special training of booth level awareness groups and campus ambassadors. With this, the voting percentage can be increased by conducting sweep activities at the booth level in colleges and schools and those eligible voters who have not been able to register till now can be registered.
Social Life Help and Care Foundation was honored at the workshop, which is an NGO registered under Section 8 from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The founder of the foundation and the chief chairman of the board are Karan Kumar Kamra and chairman Raj Kumar Kamra. On behalf of the Foundation, Dr. Rashi (Resource Development/Program Director), Mrs. Namita (Programme Co-coordinator), Mr. Kamal Bin Shan (National Minority Wing Coordinator) and Mr. Atul Garg (State Coordinator) received the award on behalf of the Foundation. The organization was honored for its selfless service to society, making free voter IDs for people and spreading awareness of voting rights among people.
On Saturday, such a workshop was started under the leadership of Assistant Returning Officer Himanshu Gupta at Government College Derabassi - 112, in which District Nodal Officer Sweep Professor Gurbakshish Singh Atwal participated as the keynote speaker. He said that the Election Commission of India has formed Voter Registration Clubs (ELCs) at school and college level and awareness groups at booth level in addition to educational institutions to identify every eligible voter and make payment for vote, whose convenors will be booth level officers.
