I threw this together one day inspired by a relationship of mine and, no none of this really happened to me I was just inspired and went down a rabbit hole of making this story. Dakota is the best character I've ever written and her and theo have such a good dynamic that it's fun to play around with their feelings and actions. Some of these events were inspired by my firehall actually and the characters are inspired by people I'm friends with.
