To love or not
Love has many definitions.
I followed all of it step by step.
But my heart was tiny enough to carry all of it.
I had to leave some.
Some chose to leave me.
But it was always about
To love or not.
Carrying the sacred most
I chose to leave all behind.
Not sure of what the destiny had for me
I kept walking slow and steady.

To love or not.
Hoping to get the love unfulfilled
Opened my arms and closed my eyes
But love was just a mirage.
A delusion of my eyes and soul.
My perturbed heart kept asking
To love or not.
Blinded with pain I went to my Lord
Submitted my soul, cried out my heart.
Seeking God's love is soothing and
Seeking creation's love is hurting
Craving creation's love bleeds the heart.
Loving the creator brings along the love of his creation.

From Within The Shadow
Introduction I started a different walk in life in 2007. I have always jotted down ditties from time to time; the ones in this book came about with a massive change within my life. It appeared sometimes as if I had no control over the flow of words. The first sentence would come through and that would be that until the poem was finished, regardless of the length. I started taking a notebook and pen with me everywhere I went so I could write if I needed to. The last one of the book 'Now' marks the end of an era. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them. Shadows I was walking along the other evening and I noticed my shadow,,, Then I noticed more shadows,,, For each light along the way it cast another shadow, hidden from view then the angle of me walking and the position of the light made it come into view, then go out of view again, sometimes, melting into another part of my shadow,,,, Mind you, they were all the different artificial lights, street, car, security, etc,,, I've only noticed one shadow with the light of the sun,,, Added to Heart Stains (HeartBreak) reading list by WattpadPoetry 07/02/2022💖Complete

I walked down the dark hallway, my eyes scanning the rooms on my way.The door was slightly ajar as I reached the end of the hallway, my hands pushing the door open as I stepped in.Her sorrowful sobs reached my ears as I stared at her little form huddled in the corner of the dark room.Moonlight from the large window fell on her body as she continued to sob sitting on the floor. My stomach twisted in a bad way seeing her like this.A pain seared at the bottom of my heart as she hiccuped making me move towards her.I sat on the floor near her silently, not saying a word.She noticed my appearance as she stiffened for a fraction of second.Her cries had stifled as we sat in the dark with moonlight showering over us. "He had broken me into so many piece that it will take a life time to collect all.He ripped me apart from my soul, from my self respect making me crumble to the ground like ash.."Her hoarse yet soft voice resonated around the room making me turn my eyes to her beautiful face. "I have nothing left of myself.Nothing."She sounded defeated.But I didn't like hearing those words from her.It killed me to listen the bitter words she swallowed each time she spoke. *** She unintentionally stumbles in his life, stealing every fiber of his body.He wishes to make her his but destiny has other plans. As they smiled at each other little did they know that after this they were not going to smile again.It's a story not just about two broken people but with of a girl and boy who's hearts had turned Black.Striving to hold on to living and trying to move on with life will they be able to meet their Red again or will they fall apart along with time. Crooning and spreading its arms right open at you, enveloping you from every nook, cajoling you, brandishing your tattered soul, and enticing you to the point where you have to surrender and accept it. Where you have to hold on to it and let everything else go. Because sometimes all a ragged soul and a chasm heart need is a pint of love.
