It's been ten years since the fall of humanity. I was only ten years old when the zombies took over. The military told us to flee underground, explaining that it was safer. The zombies are smart, too smart. They can learn to hide themselves. Some of them disguise themselves to look like normal people. We tell them apart by checking their eyes. Zombies have enlarged pupils compared to humans.

Some fates are worse than death--survival is one of them. In the two hundred years since humanity left the Earth's surface to live in the sky, life on the ground faded to a myth, a tragic memory from which they severed themselves to survive. They floated above continents turned to sand and lands swallowed by the seas, watched storm after storm rage against their cities and their monuments until they broke apart the last vestiges of civilization in penance for generations of human greed. As a lightning harvester charged with flying her ship into these storms for energy, Raina has seen more of the planet than most. She has spent her entire life soaring above its craters and scars, studying the gaping wounds of human devastation, as she honed her skills and became the youngest captain in storm-chaser history. Her ship has flown for generations. Her skills are unparalleled. But none of that matters the day they go down. ~ Praise for Earth, After: "I'm so not ready for this ending. WalkerZ - A Zombie Apocalypse Story

34 parts Complete

As a scout for what remains of the government in a post-outbreak world, Merryn is sent to investigate an old naval supply depot in a nearby city but finds so much more than zombies. ***** A year after a virus leaves the world infested with shambling zombies, those who remain attempt to rebuild a shattered country. Supported by her friends and colleagues, Merryn forges a path through the post virus landscape, finding other survivors, and searching for anything that could help everyone survive. The best and worst of humanity still live, but things take a turn as nature plays another card: a young woman could be the key to everyone's survival as one variant after another changes the behaviour of the walkers, once again threatening the scattered remnants of humanity as they teeter on the brink of extinction.
