After the incident with the upside down, Eddie Munson died and life in Hawkins went on like usual as if nothing happend. They had his funeral, and it was almost like he was forgotten about. Steve didn't forget about him. In those short few days that they knew each other, it felt like they were best friends. Steve grieved for about a month until one night he was awoken by a large figure in front of his bed. It pounced onto Steve and he screamed and flailed helplessly- until he realized who it was.
