Marisa Flores' life was far from perfect. But now, she knew, it was far better than the hell she had to endure now. She had no idea that the world could get any worse; yet it did. Was the world just trying to prove her wrong? To show that things could, indeed, get worse. It certainly seemed like it was trying to - considering that mother nature decided to rise the dead from their graves, just to eat any living mammal to come across her path.

Well- the world definitely did prove her wrong. And it just didn't just stop there. It kept going. Or maybe it wasn't the world anymore. It was humanity. Ironic, how it seemed like nobody had that anymore. Everything she had know in the past seemed to be a distant memory now. And it wasn't just a dream at all; it was a living nightmare.
